Anita and Paul 25th December 2021

Our Christmas Traditions Dearest Deborah, We are doing our best down here on earth to carry on in a manner that makes you proud. Some days are better than others but some days ‘smell, stink and hum’, as Linda Campling would say. We are keeping up all our Christmas family traditions – a real Christmas tree, a new reindeer decoration, pine cones decorated, your latest DVD watched (Yogi Bear), carrot and mince pie for Santa (although his sleigh had to do a sharp u-turn as reindeer refreshments were late) and sausage rolls are in the oven for Christmas breakfast. Simon is keeping up your ‘biggest, most unusual, most outrageous Christmas present tradition’, this year he sent us home with a 3 foot Rudolf. Paul and I ensured Toby and Twink’s paper festive cat bowls were wrapped and labelled ‘Ha ha’ with Simon’s name on. I hope every day is like Christmas in heaven. For this Christmas I wish you peace. You told me once, ‘A minute in heaven is seven years on earth' – you will you will see us soon, for us, as Christine’s memorial Christmas bauble says, ‘We will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in heaven.’ Love and hugs your no1 sister, Anita.XXX
