I've been thinking so much about you all these past few days and so saddened to know that Deborah's bubbly, chatty, effervescence will have to remain as a memory, but so glad to have been touched by her and Simon's friendship. When Simon came to visit us at Little Bush House he had just met a new girlfriend - would it be ok if she came in while he went through papers with us, he asked nervously - yes of course - and what a delight! It was like she had known us forever and it was so obvious, even in those early days, they would be there for each other. They clearly adored each other and that never changed! Deborah was fun to be with, so interested in others, her surroundings, so observant of things many of us take for granted, always so easy to be with.
